October
So it has been a long time since I've posted anything on our blog...I blame it on not having a computer or internet at our house. That makes it a bit tricky.
Well, lets see...since our last post Carson has learned to scoot, crawl, stand, walk, eat big boy food, has 6 teeth and 2 molars coming in, and so many other things that would take too long to list. The three of us got in an car accident on September 1st and totalled our car. We just had some bumps and bruises and were pretty shaken up, but otherwise really lucky. We got an 05' Chevy Trail Blazer to replace the car. We like it's bigness and think of it as our "family car".
Carson has lots of fun with Grandma DeAnne watching him 2 days a week and with Alta, who runs a daycare out of her house, (she has some openings right now if anyone is looking for a great daycare) 3 days a week. Adam and I are both still working full time and are enjoying our jobs.
On September 25th we went to the Hogle Zoo for Carson's birthday. We had tons of fun watching Carson discover the different animals for the first time. We watched a little show with the elephants and he loved watching baby Zuri use her trunk and eat bread given to her by the zookeepers. A couple days later we had cake and ice cream. I made Cars a little baseball cake of his own to eat and destroy---he didn't react quite the way I thought he would. lol. He immediately stuck his hands in and then wouldn't touch it again. I don't think he liked his hands being messy, so I ended up feeding it to him. Thank you to every one who came to the Zoo and to the party and thanks for the gifts too, he loves them!!!

Update
Hey. Just wanted to give an update since its been a while.
Carson is now 4 1/2 months old. He is getting pro at grabbing anything he can get his hands on and it goes right to his mouth. He loves bouncing whether you are holding him or he is in his bouncer. He rolled over for the first time this last week, from his tummy to his back. I think he took himself by surprise because his eyes got really big when he realized what had happened:) We also recently started feeding him rice cereal. He wasn't quite sure what to do with it at first, but now we can't shovel it in his mouth fast enough. :)
Adam and I are still working at the same places. We just got a new 37" LCD tv with our tax refund. I never really paid attention to the difference between different tvs and the different qualities, but I can sure see the difference now. Its fun.
Well that's all for now.
